What this site is
Downey Apex Plumbing is a lead-generation and call-routing service. Calls may be answered by a participating independent plumbing contractor that serves your area. We are not the contractor in every case, and the contractor, not the website, performs the work and sets the price.
Information on the site is general
Articles, tables, checklists, and cost factors on this site are general information. They are not a diagnosis of your home, a quote, or professional engineering, legal, insurance, or medical advice. Every home is different, and a plumber should inspect yours before recommending work.
Prices and estimates
This site does not publish fixed prices. Any price is given by the contractor who serves your address, after they understand the problem. Estimates on non-emergency work are offered free. Emergency work is quoted before it begins.
No guarantee of availability
We aim to answer calls at all hours, but we cannot guarantee that a plumber will be available at a particular time or that a call will connect. In an emergency that threatens life or safety, call 911 first. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 and the gas utility from outside.
Contractor licensing
California requires a license for most plumbing work. You are encouraged to ask any contractor for a license number and to check it with the Contractors State License Board before work begins.
Links and third parties
The site may link to or load content from third parties, such as maps and fonts. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Work performed by a contractor is governed by your agreement with that contractor.
